Great traditions exsist at the Lightcliffe Golf Club with our "husbands & wife" Friday evening
golf there comes the "Friday Dining" in which the husbands & wifes are great supporters.
Of course not only husbands & wifes are welcome, all diners are warmly welcomed by Sally and
our steward, John. The evenings are usually a Carvery.
These special evenings start in March and run througout the season, booking 24 hours in advance, either by telephone or email is recommend because of the popularity.
Bar snacks are available Tuesday to Sunday at the Lightcliffe Golf Club.
Snacks include,
Toasted sandwiches, cheese, cheese & onion, bacon, bacon & stilton, ham, egg, tuna salad etc.
Bacon brie and Cranberry, fresh haddock teacake
Sally's favourite is the "Lightcliffe Buffet!"
Hot or Cold.
Choice of two from:-
- Roast Beef
- Roast Ham
- Poached Salmon
- served with New or Roast Potatoes and and selection of home made Salads
- Selection of sweets
- Coffee and mints

For those who require a casual menu...
Sally's hot roast beef & roast pork teacakes with lashings of apple sauce,
horseradish sauce & crackling, served with green salad, cole slaw & spicey wedges.
£9 a head

- Bacon + cheese straws served with a dip
- Indian and Chinese selection

- £8,50 per head
Sweet selection available at £3 per head.
We have an excellent range of wines, the most prominent player that Lightcliffe
has produced, Nigel Denham (Denham Wines) is our supplier, and like Nigel's golf,
the wine is superb!
For parties and celebrations and Weddings the clubhouse can be hired,
Sally of course providing the food and can organise entertainment, please contact
her or John for further details.
